Cappadocia Hot Air Balloon Ride
Cappadocia is considered one of the top hot air ballooning destinations in the world because of its unique landscape, otherworldly rock formations and the way the early morning sunlight plays across the numerous rift valleys in the region.
Your journey begins with an early morning pick up from your hotel, about one hour before lift-off, then a quick stop for a snack at a central gathering place for all of the guests flying with us that morning. We then break out each balloon group and you will travel to the lift-off area where you can watch the final preparations for the flight, quite a site on its own.
After a safety briefing the shared flight begins as you ascend over the Martian-like landscape of the region, rising for terrific views, then descending into some of the valleys as your professionally licensed pilot deftly guides the balloons through the valleys, mere feet away from some of the most astonishing rock formations in Cappadocia.
After landing and a brief ceremony, you will be transferred back to your hotel in time for breakfast. The actual flight times vary from 60 - 90 minutes and the entire excursion takes about 2.5 - 3 hours.
