Touch Cappadocia Tour
This tour explores Cappadocia’s off the beaten path. A Roman settlement, a monastery, a village and a hike in one of the most spectacular valleys of Cappadocia followed by a well-earned drink at Cavusin village.
After a pleasant hour’s drive through villages and valleys, we will explore a number of rock cut churches spread over a beautiful valley and take a short hike at Soganli. We will then start making our way back, stopping first at Sobessos to see Roman mosaics, then at Keslik, to see a monastery hidden in one of the valleys, then we arrive at Mustafapasa. Mustafapasa was heavily populated with Greeks before the population exchange of 1923. We will explore the village together and see traces of Greek architecture throughout before we enjoy a home cooked meal. The Red Valley cuts from Ortahisar to various villages with paths parallel to each other. We will take the downhill one, cutting all the way to Cavusin Village. Rock formations, tunnels, dove cotes, vineyards and orchards all make a great hike that ends with a drink at Cavusin village.
